StartLiving offers two deposit options: 2% to get started sooner, or 8% if you want your repayments paused during the build phase. Neither requires years of saving before you can take the first step.
With the 8% deposit option, your mortgage repayments don't begin until your home is handed over. During the build period, you continue paying rent as normal and nothing else. There is no period where you are covering both rent and a mortgage at the same time.
StartLiving is available exclusively for first home buyers and cannot be used to purchase established homes. There is no age limit on applying—what matters is your current income and your capacity to service the loan. Many people enter the property market later in life and still build meaningful wealth through ownership.
StartLiving is built on Gallery Group, an Australian-owned residential builder with over 15 years of delivered homes across South East Queensland. The finance pathway uses a purpose-built mortgage product with a lower comparison rate than a standard bank loan. The build is delivered under a legally binding HIA fixed-price contract. Every commitment is backed by a real track record, not a promise.
No. Every home is delivered under a fixed-price HIA contract. The price shown includes your build, a site cost allowance and a title forecast. There are no variations or surprise invoices during construction. Independent progress inspections and 7-star energy compliance are included as standard. Your consultant will walk you through every cost before you commit to anything.
